National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), set up in 1986 by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is a statutory institute by virtue of an Act (2006) of the Indian Parliament with the President of India as “Visitor‟. NIFT has 18 professionally managed full-fledged campuses including one at Ompura, Budgam J&K. NIFT, Daman established in the year 2022, is presently located in the Govt. Engineering College Campus, Mota Falia, Varkund, Nani Daman.
NIFT Daman invites applications for the Library Assistant Group-C post on Long Term Contract basis for a period of 03 years with a provision for regularization subsequently subject to eligibility and as per NIFT policy:

Note:
a. If any document/certificate furnished is in a language other than Hindi or English, a transcript of the same duly attested by the candidate is to be submitted.
b. Candidate desirous to apply for more than one post is required to submit separate application form and fee for each post applied.
c. All documents must be self-attested.
CENTRE OF EXAMINATION:
Written/Skill tests etc shall be conducted at NIFT Daman Campus.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
The selection of the candidate shall be purely on merit list. The Merit list will be drawn on the basis of Written-Test / Skill-Test (wherever applicable). Detailed syllabus/scheme of Written Test/ Skill Test for all positions shall be notified separately.
