About Organization

Navy Children School formerly known as Naval Public School was established on 2 August 1965. It began in one big hall. Naval Public School joined hands with Nathanian School which was being run in the present lawn area. It began as a primary school with approximately 600 children. The hall was divided into two where both LKG and UKG students were accommodated. One facilitator and one office staff helped to run the school. Today NCS is a leading school in the chain of Navy Children Schools under the aegis of the Navy Education Society. It is administered by a Managing Committee set up in accordance with the Delhi School Education Act, 1973.

Job Description

Vacancies of Librarian post is being filled on Adhoc basis (for a period upto 89 days; may be considered for subsequent short – term appointments based on vacancy) at Navy Children School, Satya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

Age limit:

21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Bachelors Degree in any subject with One year Diploma in Library Science completed as a regular course from any University/ Institution recognised by the Govt of India/ UGC/ AICTE, with minimum 55% marks aggregate in the relevant subject.
